Angel

March 27, 1996 - May 3, 2000

Sire: Ch. Semper Fi Groppetti Gargoyle
Dam: Lionsire Midnight Mischief
We waited a year for Angel. We went to see her at just 3 1/2 weeks of age. Her breeder had called to say this one was to be mine as Angel was born with the sign of the cross on her chest and she knew we were officially naming her Lionsire Celestial Seraphim. She was to be our first show dog. She didn't let us down.

Angel's Show Career

Angel had a fabulous show career. She had true ring presence and was a breeze for any handler that showed her for us, but the true magic lay in her bond to one handler in particular. It was Dave Nester that turned her on. She loved him and would give him her all in the ring. They had a good run together over a few years and Dave now handles her children.

in time of daffodils(who know
the goal of living is to grow)
forgetting why,remember how

in time of lilacs who proclaim
the aim of waking is to dream,
remember so(forgetting seem)

in time of roses(who amaze
our now and here with paradise)
forgetting if,remember yes

in time of all sweet things beyond
whatever mind may comprehend,
remember seek(forgetting find)

and in a mystery to be
(when time from time shall set us free)
forgetting me,remember me
